Sara graduated cum laude from Tulane University Law School. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Women’s Studies, magna cum laude, from the University of Georgia.

Prior to joining the firm as an associate, Sara clerked for Walzer Melcher & Yoda during her 2L summer and continued clerking post-graduation while awaiting her bar results. During law school, Sara also gained hands-on experience in family law while clerking for a family law firm in New Orleans throughout her 1L and 2L years.

While attending Tulane University Law School, Sara served as a Student Attorney in the Domestic Violence Clinic, where she assisted clients in civil matters such as custody and domestic violence restraining orders. Sara was heavily involved in moot court and alternative dispute resolution competitions, winning the school-wide Negotiation Competition during her 3L year and the New York State Bar Mediation Competition during her 2L year. In recognition of her advocacy skills, Sara was inducted into the Order of the Barristers Moot Court Honor Society upon graduation.
