Chia-Hui (Danielle) Sze

Chia-Hui (Danielle) Sze joined Walzer Melcher & Yoda LLP after being admitted to the State Bar of California. Danielle focuses her practice on all aspects of family law, including dissolution of marriage, domestic violence matters, custody and visitation disputes, jurisdictional issues, international child custody, premarital agreements, and postnuptial agreements. She speaks Mandarin Chinese in addition to English and works to help clients overcome any language barriers.

Prior to her admission to the bar, Danielle gained knowledge and experience in family law. Danielle attended the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law. During law school, Danielle volunteered for the Immigration Clinic (VAWA & U-Visa Project) of UCLA’s El Centro Legal Clinic. She interviewed victims of domestic violence or felonious assault to write declarations of their experiences for their immigration applications.

Danielle also has knowledge and experience of family law at the appellate level. She externed for Chief Justice Tani G. Cantil-Sakauye (ret.) of the California Supreme Court in law school. She later clerked for Associate Justice Melissa A. Long of the Rhode Island Supreme Court. While awaiting bar exam results, Danielle clerked for Walzer Melcher & Yoda.
